Chris is the President/CEO of Caribbean Association of Georgia (CAG), a non-profit humanitarian and cultural organization founded in June 2008 and incorporated in April 2009. She has lead the organization to become a vital part of the community. She is committed to providing services, support, cultural awareness and information to the Metro Atlanta area. Chris takes pride in educating and sharing Culture, and giving back to the community and also partnering with other organizations. Her focus include children, senior citizens, veterans, homeless, students, and low income individuals.  She was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad, where she spent part of her earlier years. In 1971 her parents migrated to the United States.  She was raised in Corona, Queens, New York. 

Under Chris Scott’s leadership, CAG has continued to feed the hungry at various homeless shelters in Atlanta, cloth the homeless, feed the soldiers at Hartsfield Jackson International Airport, USO, provide scholarships to High School students, partner with Life South Blood Centers to educate the Caribbean Community on the importance of giving blood, partnered with several Faith Based organizations to share Caribbean Praise and Worship Caribbean style, lead several major festivals and much more.

Her efforts to share the Caribbean Culture on such a platform, has been undeniably phenomenal. 

As leader of CAG, she continuously seeks to exemplify the statement that CAG is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of society's most vulnerable, by providing necessary services to the Georgia and Caribbean community. Chris is committed to also playing a catalytic role in educating, enlightening, empowering, encouraging, inspiring, and informing others through this platform.

She has developed many amazing relationships with organizations such as Life South Blood Services, Atlanta Hawks, Clayton County Parks and Recreation, City of McDonough, Mayor’s Office of Immigration Affairs, White House on Caribbean American Heritage Month and many others.

Chris is a Director and Executive Producer of Stage Plays and Movies.  She has been in theater for over 36 years and has spent time gracing the stage of New York City as an actress for several of those years.  She is owner of Trinity Performing Arts Academy and has a desire to share the Art of Theater with the at risk population of youth to bring change.  Her efforts of teaching the children in the community in Drama and how to communicate more effectively in their future endeavors has proven to be successful.  Several of her plays have toured in various Cities and participated in many theater festivals throughout the country.

She spent 5 years as a radio personality sharing the Caribbean Culture and making a difference in the lives of many. 

She is a mentor to many young men and women alike.  She is a Master Life Coach and utilizes this platform to help make a difference in the lives of many.  She serves as a Ministry Consultant, assisting people to find their Spiritual Gift, Passion in order to live out their Purpose in Life.

Chris holds a Master’s Degree on Christian Counseling and is a Profession Paracletos Counselor.  She is the Global Missions Ministry Leader at her home Church and leads a team of Mission Minded individuals to explore ideas and share updates on the Ministry.    She plans and host have a special recognition service every third Sunday for Countries celebrating their independence within that month.

Chris is a Licensed and Ordained Minister at her Church (Tabernacle of Praise Church International) and holds a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Christian Counseling.  She has spent 15 years in a career as a Human Resources Manager, Recruitment Specialist and in Payroll Benefits and had the opportunity to offer employment opportunities to over 5000 job seekers..  She is married to her wonderful husband of 28 years and has 3 children and 3 grandchildren and thanks God for her amazing family.  

Chris was received the Inspiring Woman Award by the Atlanta Dream in 2015.
